Disdik Announces Disbursement of KJP Plus Funds January 2025

The Jakarta Education Agency (Disdik), announced funds for the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus Phase II 2024 in January 2025 will be disbursed on January 6, 2025.

Jakarta Disdik Acting Head, Sarjoko said the social education assistance was disbursed in stages.

According to him, there were 523,622 students receiving KJP Plus at this stage. From that number, 399,040 of them was the existing recipient category.

"There are 165,000 new recipients of KJP Plus and 416 orphanage children (a new proposal from Jakarta Social Agency). Then KJP Plus recipients for PPDB Bersama, there are 19,166 recipients or students from SMP, SMA, and SMK," he explained, Tuesday (1/7).

He explained the funds for new recipients of KJP Plus Phase II in 2024 was disbursed after the completion of the account opening process, printing of savings books and ATMs, submission of savings books and ATMs, and transfer of funds to the recipient's account by Bank DKI.

He added new recipients require further processing according to Governor Decree Number 803/2024 and Number 804/2024.

"For new recipients, please be patient because there is still an administrative process being carried out by Bank DKI. The bank will contact the students concerned to receive their funds. We will ensure this distribution is right on target," he closed.
